"Our focus will be on the Trump revolution and understand how it can be achieved in Britain," Truss declared. "We'll be talking to the leading lights of the Make America Great Again campaign."

In advance of the series premiere, there was a notably ardent backer. "This is the beginning of a type of revolution," remarked veteran reporter John Solomon. His media outlet Just the News will publish the Truss's new broadcasts.

Forging Alliances in the Maga-Verse

UK-based allies, featuring a pro-Reform adviser, assisted in her set up the Truss's program. Its staging is professional, if somewhat rudimentary. She has gathered ten thousand followers in her first week and her premiere garnered tens of thousands of views across the same period.

This marks a modest start, but in making common cause with John Solomon, she is being pushed into a established conservative ecosystem creating and spreading Maga talking points. Its obsessions include claims of media suppression by the mainstream media and a desire to dismantle a so-called administrative state – a force that the ex-PM holds responsible for the swift end of her short and troubled leadership.

"Solomon's outlet is not famous past the pro-Trump media sphere, but it does have credibility there, primarily thanks to its founder, who provides analysis on pro-Trump shows like Bannon's 'War Room' podcast and has even spoken with the former president," said Alex Hinton, who has analyzed the Make America Great Again phenomenon.

A Divisive Associate

Her effort to transplant American conservative media to the United Kingdom has pushed her closer to divisive personalities such as Solomon.

He founded his media outlet in the wake of scrutiny when allegations surfaced of pushing misleading narratives about Joe Biden's anticorruption effort in Ukraine, as well as controversial stories about ex-ambassador to that country.

Solomon's reporting were repeated within the pro-Trump outlets, with Solomon featuring as a frequent visitor on Sean Hannity's influential Fox News program. Donald Trump promoted Solomon's reporting.

Solomon made the Ukraine claims in a number of opinion pieces for the publication the Hill, after having been re-labelled as a columnist following internal criticism over his articles. His claims were key in Trump's demand for the Ukrainians to investigate Hunter Biden and his father in 2019. Those demands led to impeachment proceedings targeting Donald Trump. A Cross-Border Foray

Although the former PM's unnatural presentation and professional woes have been mocked in Britain, a number of stateside commentators do not dismiss her attempts to rebrand as a local version of the pro-Trump media ecosystem.

"The internet is borderless," he said. "There exists a sort of atmosphere within which content circulates – sometimes appearing in harsh versions and occasionally in softer tones – but which is connected."

Professor Hinton said the rise of the digital conservative movement in the United Kingdom lately meant the "potential to have a larger effect is substantial."
